Myammy101 writes about being 50, suddenly single, sexy

and looking for Mr. Right

Like a canary – she has gone deep into the Match.com mines meeting men – lots of men – and testing the waters (and blithely mixing metaphors.)

After trying Yahoo Personals, Craigslist, EHarmony, Match.com, Chemistry.com, Plenty of Fish, JDate – and then trying them all again…and dating a whole bunch of really great guys – she met Mr. Wonderful – aka Mr. Right.

Men and Women Alike:  Clients consult about their “Age old” questions: finding themselves 50+ and Suddenly Single Again… how to kickstart their dormant love lives, how to update their online profiles, twitter, text, flirt and add pizzazz to their Match.com (EHarmony, Chemistry, JDate, Our Time, etc.) online accounts.

Now: 3000 miles from Californiafrom the cool gray fog of the City of Love, the towering redwoods, the Pacific Ocean, Golden Gate Bridge, the brand new Oakland Bay Bridge, Peet’s Coffee, everything within walking distance – or a cab ride away- MUNI, BART, coffee shops, bookstores, Democrats, Dynamo donuts, Trader Joe’s, Bookstores, the Grand Cafe, Union Square, AT+T Park, the Giants, the Ferry Building, Farmer’s Markets…the JCC, Commonwealth Club, Yoshi’s, bookstores…Blue Bottle Coffee….

Can a California girl make it

in Hollywood – Florida?

Oh this will be interesting, lol. I’m from Florida, fled it and moved to CA and wouldn’t go back to FL for anything. Will be nice to hear perspective of someone who is trying FL new, from the other way around… CA to FL. Good luck!

I lived in Hollywood, FL 41 years ago! I wonder if it’s changed much…?

Probably…sky rises dot the sky…traffic to send one into a tizzy…crime beyond compare. Other than that – great beach!

Sounds about the same except not as many high rises back then. There used to be great delis (I lived near the Deli Den) down there, too, but my understanding is they’re all gone 😦
